Addison + Rebekah 6.18.11 (Kansas City Wedding Photographer)
June 24, 2011
We had the pleasure this last Saturday to document the spectacular wedding of Addison and Rebekah. Not only are they two extremely kind and fun people, they are also fellow photographers and have a strong love for Jesus. From the Toms shoes the Groom and Groomsmen wore to the various decorations like bird cages, vintage mirrors, origami birds and the beautiful Choopa (hoo-pa) they were married under…everything was designed/selected by the happy couple. Make sure to check out the Groomsmen attire as well as the ladies dresses.
It was difficult to keep Julie away from the vast candy bar lined with a huge assortment of candy, but it was even more difficult to keep me from dancing the to Mumford & Sons music they had playing throughout the reception. Speaking of reception…they had a tent set up outside with tubs filled with fruit flavored soda, an arm wrestling table (Julie beat me), a photo booth, and even a kids play area. It was a full fledged celebration.
Addison and Rebekah, don’t change. You two are so much in love it is hard not to just watch you two interact with each other. Thank you for allowing us into your day and for trusting us to capture the essence of you and your wedding.
Enjoy!
~Blessings,
Mike and Julie

Julie and Mike, I have been crying off and on all week, thanking God for working out all of the details of this wedding. You and Mike are one of the greatest ‘details’ to bless this whole celebration. We prayed so much and so long for the photographers and you came along not only with your enormous talent but your support and ultimately your friendship. We will continue to pray for your relationship, your photography business and your future family. God has good things in store for you!
OK, let’s get to working on those great grandchildren. Some of us don’t have all day. We want to see some fruit for these worn out families that have so carefully nurtured this relationship!
PS Grandmother.
Whew! All I can do right now is to look at your pictures all over…again.
I can feel the love, happiness and excitement.
Great details, i really love it! God bless you guys!
