A Boy and a Camaro

Once upon a time there was a boy. He was turning 3 years old. This same boy loved the movie Cars. His uncle rented him a Chevy Camaro that had the appearance of Lighting McQueen. Boy was very happy. The end. (You don’t need much more than that to tell this story)
I should go into more detail on this special day because it truly was a special day for this little guy. Julie and I had the great privilege to document Little “A’s” Birthday Party. This was no regular run-of-the-mill party mind you. The party took place at the Deanna Rose Farmstead in Overland Park, KS. The party area was separated into individual ”animal pens” and the theme of the party was, as you guessed it, the movie Cars!. The food, beverages, desert, cake were all labeled with signs designed with the movie in mind. His cake was decorated in characters from the movie, his mom made him some Tow Mater cupcakes, complete with the “buck teeth,” and the tables were made to look like a highway with the yellow stripes down the middle. Little “A” was…in…Heaven! The party wouldn’t have been complete without family and friends. The kids were able to walk around the farmstead and look at all of the sights and animals.
Oh, yeah…his uncle rented a shinny new Chevy Camaro that resembled Lighting McQueen and the “A” man’s day was complete. You should have seen the look on his face…it was priceless.
