Turning One! (Kansas City Children’s Photographer)

Julie

So, when you get the call that twins are turning one … what do you do?

You go to Little Monkey Bizness and have some fun!!  This session was great because we didn’t have the worries of containing one year olds-we just let em’ run free and captured the fun!

And you just have to do a double cake smash, don’t ya?  These two fabulous little cakes were designed by Sugar and Spice Confections.  Aren’t they the cutest?  Now, we’ve seen our fill of cake smashes before and this one will definitely stand out in our minds.  These two little cuties didn’t take to the cake as quickly as we thought they would, but in the end … you can see the messy results.

Have some fun looking through our faves from the session!

Blessings,

Julie

I Love Every One! (Kansas City Baby Photographer)

Julie

Words just totally escaped me as I started to sort through this little lady’s session.  I just giggled with delight as I looked through each little jewel of an image.  I fell in love with every one!  I kept saying, “I love this one … Ooh, I love this one too! … This is my favorite, no wait, THIS one is my favorite!”  Picking out my faves for the blog was a task, let me tell ya.

Darling “C” is simply the happiest, smiley-est little thing.  A special thanks to her mom for the uber stylish outfits and to her dad for all the great smiles you see here.  I can’t wait for her next session!

Enjoy!

Snow Day (Kansas City Photographer)

Julie and Mike

This young lady has graced us with her presence right here on our blog before.  She rocked the camera last April and she brought it again just the other day.  We had a blast with “E” down in the Crossroads District playing around in the snow trying to keep our feet warm.  Despite the cold, she gave us some amazing shots…take a look.

Also, stay tuned for and stunning Part 2 to this blog post that will absolutely knock your socks off!

Blessings~

Love This Little One (Kansas City Children’s Photographer)

Julie

Isn’t that little smile precious?  You’ve met “R” before.  You saw her mommy’s belly shots and we were even honored to be there for her very first portrait session.  She still has that same energy and I am still in love with her big beautiful eyes!  Now, we’re celebrating her first birthday!

“R” is all movin’ and groovin’ and no sittin’ still-let me tell ya!  Now that she’s in walking mode, there is no other mode. :-)  Mom and Dad are troopers and head over heels in love with their little girl.  As friends, it has been amazing to watch these two travel down the new parent road and they are raising a beautiful and loving little girl.  We’re so proud of you guys!

These are my favorite images from the session.  What I love is that “R” gave us some amazing studio images, but we hung out and captured her just being her around the house.  That’s what we want our photography to bring to you.  We want to see you in your environments, being you, to capture genuine moments and interactions as they occur.  Contact us to find out more about our “lifestyle and portrait photography” today at www.jsmithinnovations.com, or drop us an email at jsmithinnovations@yahoo.com.

Enjoy!

Her blanky is one of her favorite things.  Hee hee-I love that.

Time for a change in outfit.  Do you see those captivating eyes I was talking about?

Time for a snack, here Daddy!

Me and my blanky!

Totally my favorite from the day-hands down!

Blessings everyone!
