I met up with this cool family of three last Wednesday morning. Aren’t mom and dad the coolest? Right away, I just got a sense of how wonderful life must be for these guys everyday. Simply put, mom and dad are happy. In love … with each other and with their three month old daughter “K.” I was thrilled to photograph them and document just how wonderful life is for them!

He he he, the floor was pretty dirty, but dad was into it! Worth it!! What a cute shot!

Oh my good night! I LOVE this picture! Look at that tongue!

Sweet, sweet baby.

“K” was super inquisitive of the world around her. She wanted to see and investigate every sight and sound-so this shot is precious because I was not nearly as interesting as the park around us!

Mom is 100% happy to be a mom and I love capturing that …

It was certainly a pleasure to capture the love in your family guys! Thank you so much for the privilege!
Many blessings,
Julie

It is fall after all, why not show off one of our seniors for the year! Meet Tyler. He’s a laid back, super great guy. He was such a trooper letting us trott him around for our session. Never stopped smiling. In fact, the “serious” images you’ll see at the end were hard earned!

Possibly my favorite-I just really love the real moment we caught here. I’ll have to get back to ya on that one …

Dang, he’s so handsome isn’t he?

Big “little” sis got in on some of the picture action. She’s such a cutie and super sweet!

So now, on to Tyler’s passion: fishing. Did you know they have school competitions for fishing? And guess what?! This guy won state the weekend after our shoot! Way to go!

Okay, my favorite. There’s just something about this one …

And Mike got some sun action-way to go babe!

To Tyler and your family: You are all too sweet and it was a real pleasure getting to know you. Thanks for choosing us for your senior pics!
Many blessings,
Mike & Julie

He he he . . . isn’t he just a doll? So handsome and loves his daddy! This little guy is just about to turn 2 and we had the honor of capturing this moment in time for his family. And let me tell ya, big sis is GORGEOUS!! You’ll see for yourself when you see her pictures, so beautiful! Like I said, cuteness all around! Oh and mom, by the way, totally rocked at our session. You see, we were a smidge concerned that this little guy might be shy. So … she came prepared. She had a little gift ready for if we needed some convincing to smile for the camera! Bonus: she let us take the credit for the gift! Salty the Train was a huge hit-way to go mom!
Enjoy this little peek into our session~Mike & Julie

he he he … what 2 year old hasn’t made this face? I just had to include this one. It makes me smile every time I see it.

Meanwhile, big sis was doin’ her thing, had fun getting a good shot of this

absolutely my favorite shot … not sure why, but I LOVE the interaction of this one. Mom said she wanted some pictures of them together, awesome!

It’s Salty! Mom-you rock!

Is that not the prettiest face ever?

Can I just remind everybody of how much I love my job again? When mom and I wrote back and forth she mentioned they were a tattoos and mohawk family-love it! These guys were SOOOOO much fun to work with and photograph. I might have taken wayyyyy too many photographs of this family. We got so much cute stuff! It was a pleasure getting to meet you all and we are honored that you would drive from Emporia to us! Enjoy your rather large sneak peek!

To all our JSi families out there-thank you for your loyalty and dedication to us. We are blessed and excited to work with you all! Just a head’s up-Fall is booking pretty quickly. Give us a call to get your fall session set up. We can’t wait to take your picture!

This might be my favorite …

What I love about this picture is that big sis “J” was in the middle of telling me a story. It didn’t bother her at all that I had a camera in her face and I LOVE the photos I get from my little munchkins who are just being themselves!

Like this one

Awwww …

Double awwwwww …

And welcome to the REALLY fun part! It’s “L’s” first birthday so we had a little smash the cake fest in his honor. It gets pretty good …

Aghhhh, I had to put this one in! Of course you need to rub it on-LOVE IT!

So, to explain the title …
As I was editing this two and a half year old cutie-pa-tootie’s images I kept opening a new image and genuinely finding myself saying, “Awwww …” I LOVE it when that happens! She is just the most bright eyed and expressive little thing! It was so much fun to listen to her songs. Mom and Dad are truly warm and joyous parents, it’s really amazing to watch the three of them together.
One of the BEST things about her pictures is her little Snow White figurine. Isn’t it just perfect? Really, what 2 year old doesn’t have that favorite toy (or something similar) that they carry around everywhere? I LOVE LOVE LOVE it when I get to photograph their favorite things too. That’s who they are, that’s what Mom and Dad will remember about this age, it perfect for her pictures!
C and J: Thank you so much for letting me get to know your beautiful and growing family! It was a blessing to me! Enjoy your sneak peek!
Many blessings-Julie

He he he, love that face!

There were 10 flowers, I know because she could count them,

This one is beautiful in color too, hard to decide.

And now we’ve entered my favorite part of the session. We just sat down and played with Snow White for a moment.

Totally, 100% my favorite of the whole session.

LOVE IT!
